Barcelona is known for so many incredible things. But the most representative emblem for the Catalan city is the art of Gaudi. He was a Spanish Catalan architect and the best known practitioner of Catalan Modernism. Gaudí's work reflects an individual, organic naturalistic and distinctive style. Well known are the cathedral La Sagrada Familia (not finished since more than 120 years!), the former residental buildung La Pedrera (now a museum of course) or the fabulous Güell Park, shown in this post.
I am not the only one who is in love with it. For sure.
In 1984, UNESCO declared that the park is part of the World Heritage Site under “Works of Antoni Gaudí".
You can find Güell Park on a hill, above the city. I was there surrounded by beautiful gardens, imaginative buildings, colourful mosaics and a lot of fantasy. Exactly how I like it.
For this occasion I felt like wearing something fresh and colourful like my yellow jumper. Its a very jolly garment with a fun print using some navy and white tones. I am wearing a white shirt underneath to make the look smarter. On the other side the skinny jeans and leather ankle boots make it more casual. I love this footwear, its not only comfortable, also the design with it's blue and brown colour mix is gorgeous and quite different.
It was a sunny day, so the finishing piece are quirky sun glasses with yellow lenses matching the jumper.
