Black is black
I want my baby back
It's gray, it's gray
Since she went away, Ooh-Ooh
What can I do
'Cause I-I-I-I-I'm feelin' blue
I want my baby back
It's gray, it's gray
Since she went away, Ooh-Ooh
What can I do
'Cause I-I-I-I-I'm feelin' blue
I love this song from Los Bravos. Maybe because it's one of my mom´s favorite songs. She used to listen to it very often when I was little. Anyway, focusing on todays post: Who said black is only for fancy occasions and winter time?
It´s true, I am a massive defender of bright colours and fun prints in summertime but black is always very recurrent. I believe that this colour is useful in 95% of occasions and like in this post, it could be the winner outfit even in the warmest and lightest months of the year.
I am wearing a very dark blazer (almost black) with a tartan print. I love its golden chunky buttons and beige tacks on the elbows. Underneath, a short sleeved basic t-shirt, matched with rolled up slim black trousers, a black leather belt, black socks and a black handbag. At this point, I wanted to play a bit with colours and create a bit of contrast, so following the red vertical line of the buttons down, we end at burgundy red brogues. I've shown them in a previous post, they are just one of my favourites.
