Into the woods

I love when art, talent and nature are building a symbiosis. Today I show you a beautiful and magical place: The painted woods of Oma. This is a forest next to my hometown in Basque Country, hidden between mountains and little villages. It is full of unique pine trees with their trunks painted and decorated with colours, human figures, animal shapes and geometric lines. The amazing artist Augustín Ibarrola created it between 1982 and 1991. You cannot imagine how fresh the air is and how peaceful and mysterious this place can be.

I´ve been there at the last day of my holidays, enjoying the day with a relaxed but fun look. I am wearing a Disney t-shirt with soft horizontal green and white stripes showing a Mickey Mouse shape on the front. I am wearing it with pastel blue short and beige braces with detail in brown and navy. My old desert boots were a perfect option to walk comfortably between roots and branches. I am wearing aviator style shades with mirror glass in grey tone. To give the look the right finish, I combined my wide watchband Fossil in brown leather. A pretty useless accessorie for such a timeless place ;D
