Colourful men

In the world of menswear, classic colours are king. But sometimes old favourites become a little too familiar. Interesting to notice over the last year is the micro trend of coloured tailored suiting with prints and so-called joy tones. It is a perfect alternative for those who don't possess a need or desire to go the whole hog with a bold coloured suit. When I talk about "colour", I mean everything outside of neutral and monochromes such as grey, black, navy etc.

Colour coordination should never be overlooked by the man who is building a wardrobe. Well-chosen colours are like a proper fit. A detail that can entirely make or break an outfit. This is why we mix colours that work (beige and chocolate brown) or contrast (burgundy and saffron) with each other to create an appearance pleasant to look at instead of a chaotic mash. Nice pieces and a good cut in wrong colour combinations still will make you look bland and boring or loud and foolish. Most important is to pick up something you feel comfortable in. Be brave and try new tints and tones! A splash of difference here or there is what makes the outfit yours.

Blue is the predominant colour in my look. Not very discrete but sometimes we don't feel like being discrete, right? Especially in the joyful summer season. The bright blue blazer is perfectly matching the tartan tie I have already shown you a not long time ago. The beige slim trousers combined with a white shirt keep my look light and smart. Blue leather brogues go in accordance with the rest of the outfit and I am wearing short socks, so you don't see them and your ankles are summery, fabric free like they should be in this weather.
