Autumn just started and is inevitable to feel a bit nostalgic. Just look back and remember your best moments of summer. It's crazy that only a few weeks ago my only worry was how to deal with the heat and to decide on what beach I would sunbathe and take a swim in the waves. A tourist's life is not that easy but probably it is the best one.
This year I went to Gran Canaria to visit a friend that lives there. A great place to catch up, to relax and of course enjoy the sun, which warm touch I missed the rest of the summer in London. Our day started in Puerto de Mogan. A beautiful village surrounded by mountains and the sea. We found a beautiful area composed of residential houses and colourful flowers climbing its white buildings. We had to take a fresh swim here surrounded by amazing palm trees. I love palm tree in all its aspects, especially the shape and that light green. Seeing prints, formed decoration or pictures definitely cheer me up and remind me softly that the world is a warm and active place.
The best place to enjoy the sunset is the dunes in Maspalomas. Such a unique place. The feeling of isolation is created by the huge sand dunes. You think you must be in the Sahara, somewhere in Africa, but then there is that open sea. Magical when the sun starts to hide and to paint a contrast image with its lights and shades. An incredibly peaceful place.
I am wearing a basic white t-shirt with camel tapered shorts. The blue and red bandana around the neck gives the colour and the trend to the look. Footwear is my white Converse, which I wear with grey and white socks. All pieces are summery and comfortable for a perfect touristic day on the island.
