Men's fashion at its best

Fellow men. We have to admit that historically, we have never dressed so imaginatively. We see and recognize the growing interest in looking handsome, synced with that permanent feeling of pressure of our busy lifestyle, which reflects on who we are and how we function in it. The fact that we like to like ourselves is becoming established, a habit and part of our routine, since if we look back in time, the current era contrasts the splendour of variety and colour in the man's wardrobe against the sobriety and seriousness that defined the style of men in previous decades. Every time we take care of ourselves more, we care and we appreciate our appearance like never before. We have left behind very monotonous and boring times, to give way to aesthetics that favour us the most, combining the clothes we like and giving rise to a very personal style.

The 21st century began for men's fashion with constant inspiration from past styles, when clothing tended to be "greyer”, but as time progressed, a variety of colours and shapes appeared, with different fabrics and bolder prints. Inclusivity and open-mindedness as well as the arrival of the internet influenced men's fashion which quickly contributed to the spread of a free style, compared to the more homogeneous canons that traditional media showed us, making metrosexuality a new norm. According to fashion studies, although men's fashion evolves at a slower rate than women's fashion and men buy fewer clothes and less frequently than women, when a man goes shopping, he is willing to spend more.

Trousers rolled up, slightly torn, long, short, coloured, narrow, with a jacket and sneakers, with a shirt and loafers, with a polo shirt, with a t-shirt, with more or less accessories, the king of the men's wardrobe is wearing it like never before, with the most varied models, setting your own style. We break the mold by combining suit jackets with the trousers of another suit (mismatch) or with a classic or modern pair of jeans, we contrast a shirt with sneakers. We dare to go with cheerful colours without neglecting our classic side, claiming the masculine essence allowing to be revealed in our way of dressing.

I am wearing a camouflage-inspired denim jacket in grey and black with a colour-block shirt. I love the black and white contrast splitting the shirt diagonally. The black socks with the bones print, matches beautifully this garment along with the black belt and the smart studded shoes. I am adding some contrast and colour to the look with the off-red/coral colour jeans and the bottle-green, crossbody bag. Casual but carefully put together, hanging across your body or just taking the strap off and carrying it in your hands like a little purse. Style and fashion trends: sport, casual, urban, mismatch, hipster, various terms define the wardrobe of the 21st century, and without leaving the classic man behind, we talk about the modern man, because he says yes and decides more than ever the image with which he lives his life.
