Denim on denim

If there's a basic and useful fabric in our wardrobe, it´s the denim. We all have jeans, denim shirts or jeans jackets in different forms (oversized, straight, slim, skinny) and an infinity of colours, prints and styles. Thanks to 19th century golddiggers of California for putting it out there. This chamaleonic fabric has the capacity to make an outfit casual, sporty, smart, trendy etc. It´s easy to wear with a sporty sweater or elegant with a silk blazer. That is why denim is an essential part of my style and when I create my outfits. This time with Triple Denim even a step further.

This fresh look is perfect for the first days of summer. A very relaxed and casual outfit composed by 'Triple Denim'. As a top I am wearing a light blue oversized denim shirt with mao collar. It's tucked in some dark denim slim jeans and goes well with a denim sporty handbag with details in beige and tan. The moccassins break that sobriety of the outfit creating a contrast with beige, tan and black. My watch is one of that core pieces which survives the passage of time. I bought it in California exactly 12 years ago and the first 4 years I've had it in daily use! The wristband was out of black leather but after using it so many times, the strap broke and I decided to change for a brown colour.  My vintage glasses go perfectly with my look and the knitted jacket with it´s chunky leather buttons. The cardigan is one of my favourite pieces, so retro, fun, original, warm and very useful with those blue details in the sleeves, dark brown crossings and symmetrical lines all over the garment. A perfect one for London´s chilly spring/ summer evenings.
