It´s all about braces. Time has come to cheerish that old and in previous decades, especially victorian times, essential piece of mens fashion. Still trendy and still holds our trousers in place ;D Are you one of those who think it is only a "nerdy thing" to wear? Well, as always in fashion, it isn´t about a specific garment or accessory that makes you seem in a way or another. It´s how you style it and create a cool mix with the rest of the outfit. You can make a fantastic look! Braces are so easy to play with and can be elegant and sophisticated, looking like a Liverpool-worker from 1920´s or quite casual like in this post. Attach some braces to jeans and it gets a modern touch, with tweedy trousers a rather middle to upper class vibe. Play with it!!!
As you can see, my braces are skinny ones in grey with thin white lines on the sides. Great to combine them with printed garments like this shirt that I am wearing. The trousers are of beige colour and the dark denim shoes matches with the braces. To finish the look, I am wearing a straw hat in two colours. Soon I will be showing you coats and scarves. Oh gosh! I miss summer already.
