Once upon a time...

Once upon a time, a girl was living in Italy... not in a castle but in an amazing city called Turin. I have already spoke about my city and about my origin. Before I took a couple of posts in Turin in the Mole Antonelliana and near the river Po. This time I decide to give you a little bit of history of my city. The Medieval castle is considered one of the most eye-catching medieval properties in the world. The walls surrounding the castle were built between the 9th and 14th century, containing the exquisite Noble Courtyard with is magnificent Fountain of the Mysteries. The village reproduces a series of medieval typologies, taking as a model the best known buildings in Piedmont and in Valle d'Aosta; even the activity of the artisan shops contributes in recreating the medieval atmosphere. The entrance is in the north side, passed the dawnbridge, from the doors of the tower of Oglianico; on the left side is the Pilgrim Inn, in front of it there are a fountain and the bakery.
Along the street there are two houses, models of two in Bussoleno, the door of Rivoli, the house of Alba, the house of Frossasco, the tower of Alba and the house of Courgnè.
I decided to take a look around this area because I think is really suggestive and unique. I felt I was a princess, under the light of the sun and the sweet simphony of the river. So after this nice tour around the best place that my city can offer, I want to wish to all of you an amazing New year! :))
