Jumping to the trend

Aviators and astronauts wear them. Also skiers, skydivers, plumbers, auto mechanics and prisoners. Although the variety of pieces in a man's wardrobe is expanding, for the most part, it's still limited though. Pants, jackets, shirts and - if you would come dear summer- shorts, but that's about it. At the moment men-jumpsuits are trending and making them an interesting new wardrobe option. So good it should be a staple! Jumpsuits have also reappeared from time to time in high fashion, highly attractive to designers because it has an unbroken line running from neck to feet and can be flattering on some body shapes.

The men-jumpsuit isn't anything new, however, since last season there are a few updates that make the trend more wearable than ever before. They're affordable, loose fit, literally foolproof and a perfect ready-to-go summer outfit. Especially denim options are wicked to combine, either more casual or edgy. Tweed, wool or woven suit fabrics give a more refined business look. You definitely can get a streetwear or downtown look with a jumpsuit that has short sleeves or short legs. A good way to get comfortable with the trend is to start wearing a fabric-and-colour matching two-pieces outfit.

I start with an amazing navy combination. Long-sleeved shirt and shorts in dark blue with a big white check print. It kinda looks like a jumpsuit. Try it! It makes more fun than you think. Accordingly, to the season I rolled up the sleeves and matched a bottle green leather belt, off-white shoes and a green bag with red and white details with it. So you can bring your wallet, phone and in my case, my beloved camera and a chocolate treat.
