Old memorable brunches

It's weekend and who doesn't love a nice brunch after over-sleeping with some eggs benedict, avocado on toast, strawberries and blueberries pancakes or a full English breakfast (if I'm hangover). I had a favourite place for brunch not long time ago called "The Counter" where I used to go with my friends almost weekly. We loved the food, the location and the place itself but unfortunately, this place is permanently close now.  Which is a shame as I haven't found a place that mixes food, great coffee, art exhibitions, trends, fashion and tranquillity in a better way. I guess it is a consequence of the quick transformation that the area is experiencing. It used to be a working area with lots of factories and residential building for workers. All this seems abandoned now. Lonely buildings with broken windows, graffiti, not-cared-for gardens and empty streets. New modern buildings are taking place now and all the brick factories with their massive chimneys will be replaced sooner or later. Understandable but sad at the same time as I can see so much potential here and it's always nice to have a walk around here with your people.

We have met for the last time here. I am wearing an ivory over-sized shirt, buttoned-up and rolled-up sleeves. I am combining navy jogger with diplomatic stripes and colourful brogues. At this point, I believe you know how much I like brogues and yellow is my favourite colour so imagine how much I love these shoes in triple colour. Perfectly matching, the camel colour denim jacket. I am wearing my vintage watch (more than 40 years on its back!) that my dad gave it to me some time ago. The final pieces are the double coloured sunglasses in white and brown in concordance with the look.
