Last time

These were the last photos I took before SHE arrived. I remember being so scared and yet at the same time I was feeling so strong and self-assured. I didn't know what to expect, was it going to be a he or a she? I just knew that I had never felt as normal and relax as I had whilst I was pregnant.

I took these photos whilst I was on holiday with my husband... our final holiday as a couple without a baby. We found ourselves often using the phrase 'this will be our last time' (without a baby/on our own). However, I don't believe in last times. I don't actually follow many of the conventional rules followed by most parents; instead of thinking about the 'last time' I like to think about the future that will be interesting and unexpected, it is certainly going to be an adventure!

I must apologise for the delay in posting the blog this month but I'm sure you can all appreciate I was very busy making last minute preparations for the baby to arrive! It was a little chaotic but now things have settled down I am enjoying my first weeks of motherhood.
